Abdominal massage
Dr. Blackham is trained in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy. The massage is performed over the abdomen and lower back with oil to optimize blood, nerve, and lymphatic flow. It can be performed on all genders and benefits the digestive and reproductive organs. Clients find it very relaxing and are taught how to perform the massage on themselves at home. It can be especially beneficial for menstrual disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, prostate conditions, constipation, and infertility.

Pelvic floor therapy
Dr. Blackham has training in pelvic floor therapy through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. During an assessment, she inserts one finger vaginally or rectally to evaluate the strength and tone of the pelvic floor muscles. To treat, she helps the patient learn how to balance strength and relaxation of the muscles by doing exercises (Kegels) and/or trigger point therapy of tight muscles. She often integrates yoga and breathing techniques as well, and teaches patients how to perform trigger point therapy on themselves using a finger or tool.
